Digital Community Guidelines
At Lab-works Architecture, we want to enhance the way science is done in Aotearoa New Zealand by creating a built environment that encourages our scientists to thrive. We believe we can make the world a better place through science.
To ensure that our social media platforms remain true to these intentions and are used appropriately, we ask that people follow our community guidelines:
Be respectful
Please be kind and courteous, and do not make comments that contain offensive, profane or threatening language. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of hate-speech.
Stay on topic
Only make comments that are relevant to the topic or theme of the post.
Be honest
Make sure the information you share is accurate and truthful. Misinformation will be addressed or removed.
Keep sensitive information private
Do not share your own or anyone else’s personal information like account details, telephone numbers, passwords etc.
Do not spam us
Making the same point repetitively either on one or multiple posts is considered spam. Duplicate comments aren’t conducive to constructive conversations and will be removed.
No advertising
Our channels are for conversation, not solicitation. Please don’t post links or information about things you’re selling.
Talk about architecture, not people
The physical and psychological safety of our people is important to us. Keep comments about individuals positive - we welcome healthy criticism of our buildings, not our people.
Any comments or posts that don’t follow these guidelines will be hidden or deleted. If someone repeatedly breaks the rules they will be blocked.
