Joanne Kelly
Principal - Registered Architect

Joanne joined Lab-works Architecture in 1998 and became a Principal in 2016. She is a Registered Architect and is based in our Christchurch office.

Joanne oversees all stages of the design and construction of numerous architectural projects from small community laboratories and specialist hospital laboratory installations to substantial high-end tertiary teaching and research facilities. 

Her considerable experience at developing complex briefs and working with clients to provide expert architectural solutions in solving complicated design issues gives Joanne a wealth of knowledge enabling her to deliver smart, successful solutions.

In addition to laboratory design where Joanne has worked on a number of projects for universities, Crown Research Institutes, health boards and private organisations, she has also been involved in, and has a passion for, accessible design and the design of aged-care facilities.

Known for fostering strong collaborative relationships with clients and contractors alike, Joanne is an award-winning team member who is invaluable to our team, and to our clients.
