Melissa Edwards

Melissa is a Registered Architect based in our Wellington office and has practised both in New Zealand and overseas. She joined Lab-works Architecture in 2012, and became a Principal in 2021.

Melissa began her career in Auckland before spending seven years with large architectural practices in the United Kingdom, working her way up to become an Associate. Her projects included high-end hospitality and 5-star hotel design in London and Europe.

Since joining Lab-works Architecture, Melissa has developed extensive skills in the design of new builds and the upgrade of existing laboratory, research and development and teaching facilities across New Zealand. 

Melissa’s considerable experience working with large project teams and overseeing all stages of the design process, from the initial briefing and documentation through to completion, ensures that our clients experience articulate professionalism of the highest standard. 

Melissa’s knowledge and expertise are of considerable value to any project.
