BArch (Hons I), BA in Architecture (Hons), BSc (NMT)

Lien joined Lab-works Architecture in 2020 and became an Associate in 2021. Based in our Wellington office, Lien assists in leading large, complex projects for clients such as AgResearch, Lincoln University, and Massey University. With this, Lien has gained experience in the specialised architectural design of new build laboratories and support spaces for research and teaching facilities.

Originally gaining a degree in Medical Radiation Science, Lien changed career paths to study architecture, graduating with first-class honours from the University of Technology in Sydney. A background in science assists Lien when designing for laboratory users and the space they work in. Being an advocate for people-centred design, to Lien, brilliant architecture is personal.

At work, Lien has a warm, collaborative approach, with a particular devotion for working with younger team members, nurturing their interests, and helping develop their skills.
