The Post Mortem and Production Animal Hospital facility at Tāwharau Ora, Massey University’s School of Veterinary Sciences, replaces the aged infrastructure and outdated facilities with state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities designed to maintain Massey University’s standing as a world-class veterinary school.
Lab-works Architecture, as lead design consultant, has worked closely with the university to provide a purpose-built facility that both meets the key project requirements and incorporates cutting-edge equipment and systems that will represent a new benchmark in the university’s facilities. The Post Mortem facility is intended to replace the existing Post Mortem facility constructed in the 1960s. With an emphasis on improving health and safety.
The project has been a collaboration between Lab-works Architecture, CCM Architects, WSP (building services), and Calibre Consulting (structural & civil).
